Finance Transformation Intern - Summer 2027

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Hybrid work with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Travel to client sites may be required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Assess client finance operations and processes to identify transformation opportunities aligned with strategic objectives.
• Support project teams working toward clients’ long-term business goals and strategic priorities.
• Analyze client challenges and contribute to practical solutions, business cases, and process improvements.
• Participate in client meetings, communications, and day-to-day project activities.
• Help transform finance and operations functions, including processes and reporting, by designing sustainable operating models.
• Manage assigned responsibilities and project deliverables while collaborating with colleagues and clients.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Experience with data analysis, including interpreting complex financial datasets, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights.
• Ability to analyze and improve financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, communication, facilitation, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• U.S. work authorization required; no employment-based visa sponsorship is available.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of close-the-books processes, chart of accounts, treasury, financial planning and analysis, and financial benchmarking.
• Digital fluency using technology, data, and basic AI technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
