Summer 2027 Intern – Financial Operations - Financial & Business Insights (Finance)

Location: Hybrid work in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona, with 2–3 days per week in the office. The internship runs from June 2, 2027, through August 11, 2027. Relocation benefits do not apply.

Pay: $28.00 per hour, plus a $2,000 internship stipend.

What you will do

• Analyze financial and operational data and present insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Develop forecasting models, cost/benefit analyses, statistical analyses, and business performance evaluations.
• Create visualizations and participate in data storytelling using Power BI, Excel, and other platforms.
• Review, document, and improve financial operations processes, reporting, and process flows.
• Collaborate with teams across finance, accounting, analytics, mathematics, operations, enterprise technology, procurement, and business strategy.
• Support sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, contract and spend analysis, and procurement improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 overall and in the major.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Must remain enrolled in at least one course through the end of the internship and be available for the full internship period.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including advanced formulas and automation techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, learning agility, critical thinking, analytical problem solving, initiative, and curiosity.

Nice to have

• Expected completion of the degree pathway and employment eligibility within one to two years after the internship.
