Senior Manager, Finance and Accounting (Manufacturing)

Location: Allen, Texas, United States; estimated travel of 10% to 20%.

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, asset management, manufacturing costing, and ad hoc analysis for global business operations.
• Partner with business management on strategic direction, financial goals, cost reduction, profit improvement, and operating plans.
• Prepare and interpret financial statements, budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and performance reports for domestic and foreign entities.
• Provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, sales trends, market conditions, product-line P&L, investment opportunities, and risk management.
• Establish and enforce internal controls, support SOX compliance, and liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Lead continuous improvement, performance metric development, and the coaching and supervision of financial planning and reporting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• At least 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including exposure to manufacturing operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Solid accounting knowledge, strong financial analysis, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet, and word-processing software; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization, present financial information, and prepare reports and procedures.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, CA/CPA, or CMA.
• Sarbanes-Oxley experience.
• SAP ERP/MRP experience.
