Finance Controller, North America

Location: Hybrid role based in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States, with regular office attendance required.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead accounting and controllership activities for North American commercial operations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, commissions, payroll accounting, accruals, and lease accounting.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP, company policies, and internal reporting requirements.
• Maintain the internal control framework, coordinate audit support, and remediate SOX deficiencies and audit findings.
• Partner with FP&A, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, Supply Chain, and business leaders on analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and decision support.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while improving, standardizing, and automating accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, or audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial consolidations, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
• Experience leading teams and managing accounting operations in a matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with ERP and reporting systems such as Oracle, BlackLine, and OneStream.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
