Senior Electrical BIM Lead

Location: Dallas, Texas; any of hirify.global's Texas locations

Salary: $83,978.91–$95,975.90 per year

What you will do

• Create and manage accurate electrical 3D BIM models throughout the project life cycle.
• Develop and maintain company-wide BIM standards, procedures, protocols, and digital design libraries.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings and resolve complex design and coordination issues.
• Support BIM software, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Evaluate deliverables against BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements, and define BIM deliverables with clients.
• Use project metrics for continuous improvement and train and mentor project teams in BIM best practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher.
• 10+ years of AEC industry experience focused on BIM for electrical engineering and process mechanical design.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and coordination skills.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring junior staff.

Nice to have

• Experience with Plant3D or OpenPlant/OpenBuildings Designer Worksuite.
• Professional certification in BIM management.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and estimating practices.
