Senior VDC Manager (BIM)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY, USA, with 1–2 days per week meeting clients on site and travel to jobsites. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of general contractor relationships and transition into active accounts during the first 90 days.
• Lead multi-trade BIM coordination meetings with general contractors, subcontractors, and equipment providers.
• Establish consistent BIM-to-field workflows and create processes and playbooks for recurring coordination issues.
• Manage project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, estimating, and change-order scoping across multiple projects.
• Act as the primary contact for general contractor leadership and translate technical issues into actionable decisions.
• Coach VDC Managers and Engineers, travel to jobsites, and validate field conditions on complex projects.

Requirements

• Experience leading multi-trade BIM coordination on complex commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work across technical coordination, client relationships, project delivery, and field operations.
• Experience coaching or mentoring VDC Managers or Engineers.
• Comfort working directly with general contractor leadership and project teams.
• Willingness to visit jobsites and validate field conditions when required.
• US work authorization and availability for a hybrid schedule in New York are required.
