Senior VDC Manager (BIM)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY, USA; travel to jobsites is required. US work authorization is required.

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Own a portfolio of active general contractor relationships and transition into accounts during the first 90 days.
• Lead multi-trade BIM coordination meetings with general contractors, subcontractors, and equipment providers.
• Establish consistent BIM-to-field workflows across active projects.
• Manage schedules, staffing plans, budgets, estimating, and change-order scoping across multiple projects.
• Act as the primary contact for general contractor leadership and convert technical coordination issues into actionable decisions.
• Coach VDC Managers and Engineers, identify recurring coordination issues, and develop reusable processes and playbooks.

Requirements

• Experience leading multi-trade BIM coordination on complex commercial or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work across technical coordination and client-facing responsibilities.
• Experience working directly with general contractor leadership and project teams.
• Experience coaching or mentoring VDC Managers or Engineers.
• Comfort working at jobsites and validating field conditions when required.
• US work authorization and availability for a hybrid New York role are required.
