Transportation and Warehouse Specialist (Logistics)

Location: Middletown, Delaware, United States. Third shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m.; weekends as needed.

What you will do

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, suppliers, and customers.
• Schedule deliveries, prepare bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
• Monitor shipment status, resolve delays and discrepancies, and support freight claims and delivery appointments.
• Receive, store, distribute, load, and unload raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods.
• Process inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks while supporting warehouse housekeeping and 5S initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of warehouse, shipping, logistics, or transportation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation, shipping, warehouse operations, inventory control, and FIFO procedures.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems preferred.
• Strong organization, time management, attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Manufacturing environment experience.
