Location: Remote within the Boston, Massachusetts area, with territory coverage including Boston, South Boston, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island. The role requires 75–80% travel for face-to-face customer visits, UT office visits, national events, and conferences.
Salary: $155,000–$180,000 per year for the Senior ALD Specialist; $130,000–$160,000 per year for the ALD Specialist. Additional sales incentives, long-term incentives, and benefits may apply.

develops pharmaceutical therapies for rare and life-threatening diseases, including pulmonary arterial hypertension, PH-ILD, pulmonary fibrosis, and neuroblastoma, while also developing technologies to expand the availability of transplantable organs.
What you will do
- Promote Tyvaso and other marketed products within the assigned geographic territory and designated accounts.
- Build relationships with pulmonologists, cardiologists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and specialty distributor staff.
- Educate healthcare professionals about PH-ILD, IPF, disease states, products, and the competitive landscape.
- Analyze sales reports, develop territory business plans, and drive performance in key accounts.
- Coordinate with regional business directors and other field-based colleagues to optimize sales, education, and patient support activities.
- Attend medical symposia, conferences, and patient support group meetings while maintaining compliant records and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in nursing or life science, or equivalent experience.
- For the Senior ALD Specialist level, 8+ years of successful pharmaceutical or comparable healthcare sales experience, including 4+ years in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech sales.
- At least 2 years of experience in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutics, with expertise in the relevant therapeutic area.
- Experience selling within institutional or major teaching-center environments; PH-ILD and/or IPF sales experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, planning, interpersonal, and territory-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to travel by motor vehicle and airplane.

- Experience selling pharmaceutical products distributed through specialty pharmacies.
- Experience facilitating training workshops for new hires or colleagues.
- A consistent record of exceeding sales targets across multiple regions.
