TL;DR
Clinical Account Executive Rare Disease - Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming & Montana (Genetic Diagnostics): Increasing laboratory sales revenue by promoting genetic diagnostic testing services to hospitals, specialty clinics, and physician offices with an accent on complex clinical sales, customer relationships, and territory growth. Focus on expanding assay adoption, negotiating contracts, developing customer-specific action plans, and closing technically complex sales across a large geography.

Location: Remote, with residence required in the Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, or Montana territory

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for a Sales Incentive Plan with an $80,000 annual target

What you will do

  • Manage the assigned rare disease sales territory and grow business within existing Ambry accounts.
  • Sell genetic diagnostic testing services to hospitals, specialty clinics, physician offices, and new customers.
  • Expand menu utilization, introduce new testing products, and drive adoption of new assays.
  • Build relationships with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, laboratory staff, and industry thought leaders.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, develop customer-specific action plans, and deliver presentations.
  • Support trade shows, maintain customer data in the CRM, and achieve sales goals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience selling laboratory services to clinicians and hospitals or selling medical devices.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combined experience; a bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Proven success selling laboratory testing across different medical specialties and handling technically complex products.
  • Experience with demand creation across a large geography, networking, relationship development, and territory management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with experience in formal sales training such as SPIN Selling or PSS.
  • Must live in the designated Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, or Montana territory and maintain a valid driver’s license.
