Systems Engineer 5 (CONUS/OCONUS) - RF/Linux/Visio

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States; travel CONUS/OCONUS for up to 3–4 weeks at a time. U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Support daily systems engineering responsibilities on the program.
• Perform site surveys and plan and execute system installations.
• Use RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and hand tools to support system work.
• Troubleshoot networks, hardware, and software configurations.
• Contribute to system design and testing and work with customer GOTs software capabilities.
• Collaborate with the team and lead small team projects while adapting to unexpected challenges.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• High school diploma or GED plus 19 years of general systems engineering experience; or a bachelor’s degree plus 15 years; or a master’s degree plus 13 years.
• Experience with RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
• Working knowledge of Linux and familiarity with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and Word.
• Experience troubleshooting network, hardware, and software configurations, with familiarity in system design and testing.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS for up to 3–4 weeks at a time and communicate effectively.
