What you will do

• Plan and deliver complex, multi-phase data engineering and analytics initiatives across the enterprise.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and translate business needs into scalable data pipelines, reporting architecture, and technical solutions.
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for enterprise decision-making.
• Prepare, transform, validate, and troubleshoot data using complex SQL queries, Snowflake, and dbt-based practices.
• Implement AI-enabled business solutions using Snowflake Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, Copilot agents, and related conversational tools.
• Establish single-source-of-truth data architecture, data governance, quality standards, access controls, and documentation.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience across data engineering, analytics, pipeline development, orchestration, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5–10 years of relevant experience; 3–5 years may be acceptable with a related computer science or data engineering degree. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Required: advanced SQL, Power BI, DAX, data modeling, semantic modeling, and single-source-of-truth data architecture experience.
• Required: experience with AI coding agents and AI-enabled business tools such as GitHub Copilot or Snowflake Cortex Analyst/Agents.
• Ability to collaborate across IT, data engineering, security, and business teams while managing complex priorities.
• Ability to travel up to 10%; the role involves prolonged desk and computer work and may require lifting up to 30 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with data governance, project management, Snowflake, dbt, Python, Azure Data Factory, Docker, Kubernetes, or Prefect.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
