TL;DR
IT Data Analyst II (AI) (SQL/Power BI/Snowflake): Building and maintaining Power BI reports, semantic models, Snowflake transformation layers, and AI-enabled analytics tools for three business units with an accent on reporting, data preparation, and self-service access to data. Focus on troubleshooting SQL and scheduled refreshes, modernizing legacy reporting environments, and implementing Snowflake Cortex and Copilot agents.
Location: Anderson, South Carolina, United States; travel anticipated at 0–10%.

What you will do
- Provide day-to-day data analytics, reporting, and troubleshooting support across three business units.
- Write, test, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries across multiple source systems.
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, DAX calculations, and semantic models.
- Support Snowflake data preparation, transformation, semantic model refreshes, and dbt-based transformation work.
- Implement AI-enabled solutions such as Snowflake Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, Copilot agents, and similar conversational tools.
- Monitor data refreshes, manage ServiceNow tickets, document report logic, and collaborate with IT, DAIE, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related discipline; an MBA in data analytics or equivalent professional experience is also accepted.
- Proficiency in SQL, including query writing, troubleshooting, optimization, data validation, and data preparation.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including report and dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve ambiguous data and reporting problems, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and lift up to 30 pounds when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, Snowflake, and dbt.
- Experience with AI coding agents such as GitHub Copilot.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled business tools such as Snowflake Cortex Analyst, Cortex Agents, or Copilot agents.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Prefect, Kubernetes, or Docker.
