Senior Power BI Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, SSAS Tabular, SSRS, and related technologies.
• Lead requirements gathering, architecture, system design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, training, and ongoing support.
• Design and govern semantic models with reusable measures, hierarchies, KPIs, standardized calculations, and row-level security.
• Develop executive dashboards and interactive reports while optimizing DAX, data models, SQL queries, performance, scalability, accessibility, and usability.
• Integrate data from enterprise data warehouses, Azure Data Lakes, Power BI Dataflows, data marts, and other enterprise sources.
• Support BI migrations, platform administration, production troubleshooting, documentation, quality assurance, stakeholder support, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of experience developing Microsoft Power BI solutions and at least ten years supporting enterprise data warehouse and BI environments.
• At least five years of experience with SSRS and at least five years with SSAS.
• Strong experience with Power BI administration, configuration, security, governance, user management, complex reports, semantic models, and advanced DAX.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills, with experience using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases and tools such as SSMS, Toad, or SQL Navigator.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data architecture, relational databases, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI Fabric and emerging Microsoft analytics technologies.
• Experience supporting Azure-based data and analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, master data management, and enterprise reporting best practices.
• Experience leading BI modernization, migration, or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience mentoring developers or serving as a technical lead on BI projects.
