What you will do
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to plan fabrication work.
- Operate MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment safely.
- Cut, grind, and clean metal surfaces before welding.
- Inspect welds for strength, size, and structural flaws.
- Maintain tools and a clean, safe work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–5 years of welding experience.
- Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Ability to comply with safety requirements while wearing protective equipment.
