STS Aerospace provides fabricated metal tubing for hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust installations.

What you will do

• Perform visual and dimensional checks on tubing and materials.
• Read blueprints and job orders to identify dimensions, tolerances, tooling instructions, and operation sequences.
• Mark reference points and select, position, and secure tubing in the saw.
• Set fixtures or feeding devices and configure feeds, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.
• Operate the machine and verify that finished workpieces conform to specifications.
• Fabricate tubing through cutting, grinding, forming, deburring, cleaning, swaging, and polishing.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training is accepted.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear during regular duties.
• Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are required.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance is required.
