What you will do

• Perform high-precision fabrication and machining of components according to design specifications and quality standards.
• Build vehicle prototypes and collaborate with engineering teams to bring designs into production.
• Design, fabricate, and maintain custom manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Operate and maintain lathes, mills, welding equipment, and CNC machines.
• Optimize fabrication processes, troubleshoot complex machining issues, and reduce production waste.
• Support shop capability expansion while maintaining equipment, safety standards, and an organized work environment.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a fabricator or machinist, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Hands-on proficiency with lathes, mills, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with GD&T and strong attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to safety, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Welding or machining certification.
• Experience operating CNC machines.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
