Fabrication Mechanic - Trim Cut (Finisher)

What you will do

• Fabricate rigid and flexible metal tubing for hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic, waste, and exhaust installations.
• Cut, grind, form, deburr, clean, swage, and polish tubes and assemblies according to specifications.
• Perform visual and dimensional checks on materials, components, tube details, assemblies, and finished products.
• Inspect and test parts and assemblies for conformity with blueprints, customer instructions, and operating procedures.
• Set up and operate abrasive, squaring, deburring, and sizing equipment, including swagers.
• Assemble, install, salvage, and repair rigid or flexible tube assemblies, fixtures, equipment, and products.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Alternatively, one to three months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, method sheets, process sheets, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual attendance.
