Patient AR Supervisor (Healthcare Revenue Cycle)

What you will do

• Supervise the daily operations and performance of the Patient Accounts Receivable team.
• Ensure patient accounts are billed accurately, promptly, and compliantly.
• Review and approve collection adjustments, write-offs, collection agency referrals, and probate cases within the designated authority range.
• Manage patient bad debt and Patient A/R days against established benchmarks.
• Conduct monthly staff account audits and monitor accuracy and error rates.
• Coordinate with manufacturer and foundation/patient assistance representatives while partnering with management on shared issues and employee relations.

Requirements

• Three or more years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience, including authorizations.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus proficiency with payer sites, databases, scheduling tools, and medical information systems.
• Knowledge of clinic procedures, medical practice, medical terminology, and drug indications.
• Remote work is designated for the United States.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of supervisor experience.
• One or more years of experience in a community oncology setting.
• Customer service experience.
