TL;DR
Revenue Cycle Manager (Medical Revenue Cycle): Managing insurance authorization and revenue cycle operations for oncology practices with an accent on team leadership, payer policy compliance, and KPI performance. Focus on resolving escalated issues, identifying process gaps, and building improvement initiatives across centralized revenue cycle functions.

Location: Hybrid position based at 3001 E. President George Bush Highway, Suite 100, Richardson, Texas, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; regular on-site presence during scheduled business hours is required.

Texas Oncology is a large community oncology provider delivering evidence-based cancer care through more than 220 sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

  • Manage the daily operations of the revenue cycle liaison department and support client and practice satisfaction.
  • Lead individual contributors, set department goals, supervise performance, and support hiring and employee development.
  • Oversee insurance authorization and liaison functions, including revenue cycle issue monitoring and KPI improvement.
  • Coordinate communications between site-of-service contacts, direct reports, and revenue cycle department leaders.
  • Resolve escalated issues and support strategic planning and projects aligned with business goals.
  • Identify process gaps, develop corrective actions, and review the results of improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Business, or an equivalent qualification, or 7+ years of revenue cycle experience.
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections, including CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, coding, and medical terminology.
  • Understanding of managed care products such as HMO and PPO plans.
  • Knowledge of multiple practice management systems and oncology billing is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work regularly at the Richardson, Texas employee site during scheduled business hours.
