Location: Richardson, Texas; full-time remote position with required presence at the employee site during regularly scheduled business hours. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will do

  • Supervise revenue cycle operations from appointment scheduling and insurance eligibility through claims, payments, collections, accounts receivable, denials, and account adjudication.
  • Coordinate front-office activities, including scheduling, check-in, and copay and coinsurance collection.
  • Monitor revenue cycle metrics, prepare monthly financial analyses, review aged accounts, and identify process improvements.
  • Audit staff work for quality, coding accuracy, compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training on procedures, systems, metrics, regulations, and revenue cycle processes.
  • Lead, coach, evaluate, and develop employees while resolving escalated and complex revenue cycle issues.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Finance, Business, or an equivalent qualification, or four years of revenue cycle experience.
  • At least four years of medical revenue cycle experience with a consistent record of meeting metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections, CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS coding, medical terminology, and managed care products such as HMO and PPO plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in person with coworkers, management, and clients and meet the physical requirements of a clinical environment.
