Focus on building high-performing teams, introducing automation, applying ISO 9001 standards, transferring new products into production, and solving process issues through data-driven root cause analysis.

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 124,600–204,850 per year, plus target annual cash bonus and long-term incentive stock grants.

What you will do

  • Lead the consumables manufacturing organization and drive improvements in revenue, quality, delivery performance, and cost.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Design for Manufacturability practices.
  • Build and develop a high-performing manufacturing team for current and future business needs.
  • Create short- and long-term capacity plans covering hiring, capital spending, and appropriate automation.
  • Apply ISO 9001 quality management requirements, oversee product and process testing, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Improve production workflows, equipment layouts, assembly and testing methods, and new product introduction transfers into production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
  • At least 10 years of experience managing manufacturing operations, manufacturing resources, manufacturing engineering, or quality engineering.
  • Experience building and leading high-performing teams in a fast-growing business.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, continuous improvement, KPI management, budgeting, expense control, and forecasting.
  • Data-driven problem-solving experience using root cause and countermeasure approaches.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Prior experience in an engineering role.
