Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift (CNC)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; onsite, 1st shift

What you will do

• Resolve machining quality issues reported by machine operators.
• Improve tool life, cycle times, processes, equipment, and tooling for CNC operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with maintenance personnel.
• Perform mechanical realignments of CNC equipment and workholding, plus basic preventive maintenance.
• Create manufacturing documentation and work instructions, and communicate with maintenance, engineering, supervisors, and vendors.
• Help relocate and install large machinery while handling changing priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred.
• 3–5 years of direct CNC machining setup experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent print-reading skills, including GD&T; ability to understand engineering drawings, schematics, work orders, and manufacturers’ manuals.
• Computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, machine tools, and precision measuring equipment.

• Technical or trade school education.
• 3D modeling and CAD proficiency.
