Maintenance Technician (Machinist) 2nd Shift

Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Maintain automated production machinery to reduce equipment downtime and support production schedules.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, mechanical adjustments, alignments, and equipment relocations.
• Identify and order spare parts, document completed work, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Participate in equipment projects, upgrades, training, and relevant meetings.
• Read technical drawings and schematics and work with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Perform machining activities including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding, and CNC machine setup, programming, and operation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Production Technician or Auxiliary and approximately 3 years of applicable experience or demonstrated skill.
• Experience using basic hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams; knowledge of hydraulics is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under stressful conditions with limited supervision.
• Ability to work onsite in Mountain Home, Arkansas, on the 2nd shift, including possible overtime, nights, and weekends. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Two-year technical associate degree.
• Knowledge of mold repair, teardown, assembly, cleaning, and mold maintenance methods.
• Experience with hydraulic systems.
