Manager Project Engineering

Location: Travel 50–70% to various plants in the US and Canada

Salary: $105,100–$147,100 annually

What you will do

• Develop and execute capital projects for baking and packaging processes, products, and equipment.
• Create project plans, budgets, capital requests, detailed equipment specifications, and request-for-proposal materials.
• Manage vendors and construction activities, including change control, installation, troubleshooting, and training.
• Deliver approved project scope on schedule, within budget, and according to design criteria.
• Support plant teams with root-cause analysis, equipment performance reviews, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Develop capacity plans and recommend solutions for production shortfalls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• 5–7 years of engineering experience.
• Experience managing large projects involving more than $1 million in assets.
• Experience creating, reading, and interpreting AutoCAD drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Project and standard office applications.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% and visit plants in the US and Canada as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in the food, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industries.
• Controls systems experience with PLCs, drives, VFDs, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, or similar systems.
