Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician I-III

Location: Akron, Indiana, USA; onsite. Third shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with overtime as required.

Wage: $28.62–$41.05 per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot AC and DC drives, motors, and PLC programs; modify or write PLC programs where required.
• Perform welding, machining, fabrication, and equipment installation according to site requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and reduce the risk of repeat equipment failures.
• Execute and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures while supporting continuous improvement.
• Document maintenance activity in the CMMS and collaborate with operations on equipment safety, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite in Akron, Indiana, on the third shift.
• High school diploma, preferably with a vocational focus.
• Technical competency in industrial maintenance across mechanical, electrical, automation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.
• Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, including PLC program logic.
• Experience with NFPA 70E electrical safety practices, CMMS, and standard computer programs.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, communication, collaboration, and proactive reliability skills.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Welding, machining, and fabrication experience.
• Relevant experience: 4+ years for IMRT I, 6+ for IMRT II, 8+ for IMRT III, or 10+ for the Senior level.
• For the Senior role, experience serving as a Lead or Maintenance Planner.
