Zero Waste Representative (Sustainability)

Location: Gardena, California, USA; field position serving designated Los Angeles Franchise Zones.

Salary: $70,304–$89,200 per year; listed pay rate of $73,000.

What you will do

• Conduct proactive customer calls, site visits, initial waste assessments, and data collection.
• Confirm service levels, prepare contract service agreements, and create customized customer reports.
• Develop recycling baselines and program goals, including training presentations and public speaking at customer locations.
• Implement zero-waste and business-specific diversion programs within the assigned franchise zone.
• Manage major and high-profile accounts, monitor participation, and support customers that are not meeting program requirements.
• Review progress with operations, project management, and sales teams and resolve customer service issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role identifying and addressing customer needs.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives.
• Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders in formal and informal settings.
• Valid driver's license.
