Land Supervisor

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States. The role requires frequent work at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices, as well as travel and outdoor activities in varying climates.

Salary: USD $79,040–$84,500 per year, depending on experience, education, skills, geographic location, and other factors. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus may apply.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of land projects, project teams, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with client representatives and Field Services leadership, providing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assess project risks, identify negative trends and scope changes, and implement corrective and mitigation plans.
• Supervise land personnel across survey, title, acquisition, documentation, administration, permitting, and construction support.
• Assign work, monitor performance and compliance, approve time and expenses, and complete personnel evaluations.
• Conduct complex negotiations and support project commitments across multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of project management experience.
• Ability to travel as required and work both indoors and outdoors in varying climates.
• Ability to work regularly at field locations, governmental agencies, corporate entities, and client offices.
• Ability to walk long distances over varying terrain and lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
