Salary: $17.25–$25.00 per hour; starting rate listed as $19.50 per hour, plus applicable shift differential.

What you will do

  • Start up and operate automated manufacturing equipment according to procedures, production plans, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  • Perform machine changeovers, minor adjustments, troubleshooting, and assigned preventive maintenance support.
  • Enter production data in the MRP system and maintain accurate documentation for material traceability and accountability.
  • Read and interpret work schedules, Kanban, bills of materials, pick lists, drawings, travelers, SOPs, operational codes, and related tables.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors, coordinators, engineering, and manufacturing management to resolve technical issues and meet production requirements.
  • Train other machine operators when requested and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to interpret safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure documents.
  • Mechanical aptitude, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and effective hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to stand and walk regularly, perform repetitive movements, and frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
