Business Analyst, Data Management & Reporting

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States. Hybrid work is available, with up to one day per week from home. Applicants must have US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $77,000–$131,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers.

What you will do

• Design, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data visualizations, operational reports, and metrics.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, warehouses, and databases while reviewing accuracy, consistency, trends, and leading indicators.
• Define KPIs and standardize trusted reporting for senior leaders and operational teams.
• Perform data governance, quality control, maintenance, and privacy-related activities in line with organizational policies.
• Participate in system development and testing, evaluate enhancement feasibility, and assess implications for data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and practical AI applications, and train business users and junior professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI or similar tools.
• Knowledge of the data analytics lifecycle, including requirements gathering, data preparation, analysis, visualization, and deployment.
• Strong analytical, statistical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience identifying practical applications for analytics, automation, and AI.
• Experience training users on self-service reporting tools and analytical solutions.
