What you will do

  • Define and enhance the retirement data strategy, including data models, architecture inputs, and foundational datasets.
  • Partner with Technology and Data Engineering to build scalable, high-quality data pipelines across retirement products and platforms.
  • Design end-to-end tracking for contributions, rollovers, distributions, conversions, asset movement, and lifecycle metrics.
  • Build participant-level data aggregation, segmentation, reporting, and insights supporting engagement, financial wellness, advice delivery, and targeted outreach.
  • Deliver standardized dashboards, reporting, analysis, and executive presentations aligned with business KPIs.
  • Establish data governance, ownership, documentation, quality controls, issue resolution processes, and regulatory alignment with Product Risk, Legal, and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years of relevant experience in data, product analytics, or platform roles.
  • Experience with retirement products, recordkeepers, or financial services platforms.
  • Understanding of retirement data structures, including plans, participants, contributions, and rollovers.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into data solutions and work across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed environment with strong analytical, communication, and financial acumen.

Nice to have

  • Experience building or managing data governance frameworks and data quality programs.
  • Familiarity with participant-level analytics and financial wellness use cases.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, DOL regulations, and retirement reporting requirements.
  • Experience with large-scale data environments, data lakes, or warehouses.
  • Exposure to rollover tracking, asset movement analytics, and lifecycle reporting.
