Key Account Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead US initiatives to grow product sales in the OE automotive and Autobody Refinish markets.
• Support distributors with end-user applications and expand the existing customer footprint.
• Recommend product portfolio requirements using business assessments, voice-of-customer insights, and presentations.
• Drive internal acceptance and action for growth initiatives.
• Achieve territory sales and profitability goals set by the Market Segment Manager.
• Support business objectives and provide leadership within the assigned scope.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or automotive OE surface-finishing application environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Negotiation and contract-management skills.
• Experience in paint-related environments, including Tier 1 and OEM manufacturers.
• Understanding of OEM paint operations, including E-Coat, primer, top coat, ovens, dirt-in-paint issues, and defect analysis.
• General knowledge of the Autobody Refinish market.
