Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent

Salary: $120,000–$165,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead onsite construction operations and communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors.
• Manage jobsite safety, administer the safety program, and coordinate accident reporting, investigations, and inspections.
• Maintain project quality standards, daily documentation, work orders, site conditions, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Collaborate with the project manager to develop and maintain schedules, installation sequences, and schedule commitments.
• Organize site resources, temporary facilities, utilities, site teams, and expedited long-lead items.
• Build effective working relationships with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and the local community while identifying and resolving problems early.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices, with the ability to organize people, tools, and time under tight deadlines.
• Previous superintendent or project lead experience is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Excel, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds; clear communication, organization, collaboration, integrity, and adaptability are required.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
