Senior Superintendent (Construction)

Location: Vienna, VA, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $136,000–$195,000 per year

What you will do

• Take overall field responsibility for site access, scheduling, deliveries, logistics, safety, quality, and construction execution.
• Lead pre-construction scheduling, logistics, planning, phasing, budgeting support, and project schedule development.
• Manage multiple large or complex projects while maintaining strong quality assurance and quality control.
• Supervise internal field teams, trade partners, owner vendors, and project documentation.
• Coordinate plans and specifications with architects and engineers and resolve onsite issues with minimal cost impact.
• Mentor and train Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, project engineers, and interns while supporting RFP presentations, client relationships, and business development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing commercial interior, healthcare, and/or mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience managing field operations, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
• Strong construction trades background and technical knowledge, with proficiency in scheduling software.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and the ability to maintain a strong safety culture.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
