Quality Manager (Construction)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; travel to project sites and work in sometimes extreme climate conditions required.

Estimated pay: $104,000–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage and implement quality processes and procedures for projects, initially supporting a data center project near Alexandria.
• Monitor inspections, observations, compliance testing, remediation, and documentation against contract requirements.
• Develop and implement project quality plans and the Three Phase process for high-risk definable features of work.
• Conduct assessments, identify deviations and quality issues, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Collaborate with owners, agencies, subcontractors, vendors, and project teams on quality requirements and documentation.
• Coach and train project staff, including training on Procore and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• 6+ years of quality control and quality assurance experience across varied project sizes and types.
• Understanding of construction codes, compliance, standards, and controls, with experience in root cause analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software, including Procore training responsibilities.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work in various, sometimes extreme, climate conditions.
• Strong written, oral, listening, collaboration, coaching, and problem-solving skills with demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.

Nice to have

• Formal QA/QC training and certification, especially USACE Construction Quality Management certification.
• Building envelope commissioning training and familiarity with NIBS Guideline 3-2013, ASTM E2813-12, and ASHRAE Guideline 0-2013.
