Senior Planning Analyst (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Collect and analyze sales forecasts and convert them into demand and supply forecasts using Excel, considering arrivals, inventory, and market fluctuations.
• Evaluate factory orders against production capacity and capability, scheduling production to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
• Maintain daily inventory reports in SAP and Excel, monitor inventory turnover, and develop strategies to reduce aging inventory and optimize stock levels.
• Coordinate with sales, production, logistics, operations, and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives and resolve issues.
• Develop safety stock and reorder point frameworks, supply chain KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level planning insights using Excel and Power BI.
• Assess demand variability, supply disruptions, and capacity constraints; implement process improvements, automation, data integration, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a closely related field; a foreign degree equivalent is acceptable.
• At least two years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Supply Chain Planning Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Analyst, Logistics Engineer, or in a closely related role.
• Experience with demand and supply planning, production and capacity planning, inventory management, inventory reporting, and order fulfillment optimization.
• Experience monitoring inventory turnover, improving supply chain processes, and coordinating across functions.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience using SAP ERP systems; Power BI experience is required for reporting and analysis duties.
