Quality Control Technician

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida, United States — plant-based, onsite. Second shift, Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM.

Salary: $20–$21 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Perform QC laboratory testing and ensure manufactured products meet quality, safety, environmental, and ISO requirements.
• Collect, retain, record, cross-check, and report test samples and results in QC systems and the JDE database.
• Maintain calibration and traceability for QC instruments, Certificates of Analysis, MSDS, and related documentation.
• Support root cause investigations, field complaint testing, batch adjustments, and acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Identify improvements to laboratory workflows, testing methods, equipment, and daily QC activities.
• Coordinate with production personnel, lab staff, QC leadership, and business stakeholders to support efficient production and KPI reporting.

Requirements

• Associate degree in science or engineering, or 3–5 years of QC laboratory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to present technical data.
• Good verbal, written, mathematical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cementitious chemistry, epoxy liquids, latex, or LATICRETE product lines.
• Ability to travel 0–5% and complete daily laboratory responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, lift and push/pull at least 50 pounds, and stand for approximately 75% of the workday.
