Quality Control Technician (Construction)

Location: Hamlet, North Carolina, United States; hybrid role with second-shift plant work.

What you will do

• Conduct QC laboratory testing and ensure manufactured products meet quality, safety, environmental, and ISO requirements.
• Enter test results, Certificates of Analysis, and related information into the JDE database.
• Collect and retain samples, update QC reports, and prepare daily shift reports.
• Verify incoming raw-material documentation and equipment calibration for ISO 9001 traceability.
• Communicate with production personnel to support efficient quality-focused production flow.
• Support warehouse and production operations through order fulfillment, inventory audits, material handling, loading, housekeeping, and shift handoffs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in science or engineering or 3+ years of QC laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic math, analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and use an RFGen inventory-control gun.
• Ability to work in a plant environment, pass a pre-employment physical, lift or carry at least 60 pounds, and stand for 80%–85% of the day.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of cementitious chemistry, epoxy liquids, latex, or hirify.global product lines.
• Experience improving QC laboratory workflow and testing activities.
