Senior Software Developer (C#)

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Annual base salary: CAD 104,400–135,700

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance C# software that processes and stores vehicle and device data in real time.
• Contribute to scalable, secure, and reliable software, SDKs, APIs, prototypes, minimum viable products, and proofs of concept.
• Document requirements, technical designs, system architecture, implementation schedules, and reusable development practices.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, troubleshoot bugs using call stacks, trace files, and performance data, and identify root causes.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers, support staff, and resellers.
• Participate in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule and research new technologies and frameworks.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience developing scalable applications with object-oriented programming.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with C#, Java, Python, SQL, Google Compute Engine, and Google BigQuery.
• Experience with SQL Server, Postgres, and database optimization, including MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, plus proficiency with Git and merge conflict resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, teamwork, and communication skills.
