Traveling Electrical Construction Senior Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Eagan, Minnesota office, with required co-location at nationwide project sites and travel according to the company plan

Salary: $143,360–$184,320 per year

What you will do

• Manage project financials, including billings, projections, cash flow, cost codes, WBS, schedules, and profitability.
• Prepare change orders and communicate cost and schedule impacts to clients.
• Direct general foremen, foremen, and field crews while ensuring compliance with contracts, union agreements, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan project execution through purchasing, engineering, subcontracting, and installation.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, internal departments, project partners, and other stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and concerns, resolve conflicts, and report project health and financial status to leadership and project teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience managing complex electrical projects.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability and willingness to co-locate at project locations and travel nationwide according to the traveling plan.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, NEC, OSHA, and industry safety standards.
• Proven leadership, budget management, risk management, client communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, Accubid Enterprise, and electrical schematics, plus a record of delivering large-scale projects on time and on budget.
