Test Automation Engineer

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA; hybrid work across the local office, client sites, and remote work. Occasional local or regional travel may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated functional, regression, and integration test suites for web, mobile, and API-driven systems.
• Develop reusable test frameworks using page object, data-driven, and behavior-driven patterns.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and report coverage, defect escape rate, and pipeline stability.
• Translate acceptance criteria into traceable test scenarios with product owners and business analysts.
• Triage failures, identify root causes, and distinguish product defects from test or environment issues.
• Mentor engineers and client teams, contribute to test strategy, and participate in agile planning and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Three to six years of software quality engineering experience, including at least two years in test automation.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress, plus API testing with REST services, authentication, and contract or schema validation.
• Experience integrating automated suites into CI/CD pipelines and using Git-based version control.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
• Mobile automation with Appium, XCUITest, or Espresso.
• Performance testing with JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
• Cloud and container experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Accessibility or security testing experience and relevant professional certifications.
