Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and control issues in production machinery using technical diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
• Tear down, rebuild, adjust, install, and connect utilities for machinery, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, repairs, documentation, and downtime tracking for production equipment.
• Maintain facility systems and perform welding, plumbing, painting, carpentry, lighting, HVAC, and structural maintenance.
• Design and fabricate small manufacturing equipment, tools, and fixtures, including precision-machined, high-tolerance parts.
• Instruct production teams on preventive maintenance procedures and ensure proper care and organization of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of maintenance experience with rotary die cutting machinery.
• At least three years of facility systems maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose issues accurately without trial-and-error.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, measuring instruments, machining equipment, blueprints, close tolerances, metals, and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and minimize downtime.
