Technician - 2nd Shift (RF Electronics)

Location: Tampa, Florida, USA; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Assemble precision electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Set up, operate, maintain, modify, test, and calibrate electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Perform RF and electronic tests, including gain, power, VSWR, isolation, and insertion-loss measurements.
• Diagnose malfunctioning components, perform repairs, and modify cables and production or development equipment.
• Conduct engineering tests, collect design data, and support prototype and specialized test-equipment development.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and quality personnel while maintaining equipment calibration, safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or technical-school education.
• Two to four years of electronics/RF technology, military, or technical-school experience and three to five years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, wire lists, and schematics and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, signal generators, frequency counters, soldering irons, and rework stations.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual-tool work, meet physical requirements, work with minimal supervision, and maintain high quality and safety standards.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Word.
