Commercial Lines Account Manager (Property & Casualty)

What you will do

• Manage daily client service needs for an assigned commercial insurance book of business.
• Support renewal strategy, exposure gathering, claims reviews, submissions, proposals, binding, and new business activity.
• Coordinate certificates, invoices, policy changes, endorsements, audits, reports, and policy documentation with carriers, producers, associates, and vendors.
• Handle claims reporting support, contract reviews, carrier documentation, and system-of-record updates.
• Manage client accounting activities, including policy setup, agency-bill invoice requests, aged receivables, fund returns, and carrier discrepancies.
• Maintain procedures and documentation that support compliance, reduce errors and omissions exposure, and strengthen client retention.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance business.
• Appropriate state Property & Casualty license.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and remain tactful under pressure.
