What you will do

• Prepare conceptual estimates, detailed construction estimates, bids, cost models, budgets, and quantitative take-offs.
• Review construction plans and specifications, establish general conditions costs, and assess constructability, schedules, phasing, and staffing.
• Organize bid-day documentation, scope comparisons, pricing back-up, bid spreadsheets, and buyout activities.
• Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, solicit bids, define scopes, and support subcontractor selection.
• Collaborate with senior estimators, design teams, engineers, project participants, and vendors throughout the bid process.
• Lead assigned project bid closings and participate in pre-construction proposals and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of related experience, or an associate degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in detailed estimate organization, quantity take-offs, and conceptual or schematic estimating.
• Understanding of construction practices, project schedules, and facility durations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and familiarity with estimating software.
• Strong analytical, logic, precision, communication, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
