Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager

Location: Los Angeles, California, based out of the El Segundo, California office

Salary: $133,100–$181,500 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and multiple project teams.
• Provide executive-level oversight for portfolios of approximately 5–8 active commercial construction projects valued at $5M–$30M.
• Guide teams through preconstruction, RFP, construction, turnover, and closeout.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, change management, subcontractors, and financial performance.
• Identify risks, staffing needs, and resource requirements while supporting resolution of complex project challenges.
• Build client and subcontractor relationships, support negotiations, and help pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing APMs, PMs, and project teams across multiple projects.
• Experience with commercial construction projects valued at approximately $5M–$30M.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, scheduling, contracts, procurement, change management, subcontractor management, and construction operations.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, client-facing, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred; equivalent additional construction experience may be considered.
