Senior MEP Manager (Commercial Construction)

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana, United States; initially based on a large data center project near Alexandria. Travel support includes per diem, trips, and additional incentives.

Estimated pay: $129,000–$213,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the regional MEP function across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Coordinate MEP activities from design coordination through project completion and closeout.
• Review plans for constructability and cost feasibility, assess project risks, and resolve MEP issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors, clients, owners, design teams, project managers, and superintendents.
• Manage MEP budgets, financial performance, workload, team structure, and operational results.
• Ensure MEP quality control, compliance testing, submittals, inspections, remediation, and jobsite safety.

Requirements

• 8+ years of MEP and commercial construction experience for the Senior Manager level, including 5+ years in design or project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience reading drawings and specifications and resolving complex MEP and constructability issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other 3D software.
• Collaborative leadership, talent development, negotiation, communication, financial accountability, and business relationship skills.
• Ability to work on the project near Alexandria, Louisiana, with travel as required.
