Construction Manager (Development Services)

Location: Dallas, TX; hybrid work arrangement with travel up to 50% to project sites, inspections, or meetings

Salary: $85,897–$167,023 per year. Typical Dallas new-hire range: $100,214–$126,937 per year.

What you will do

• Oversee multiple construction projects for multiple clients as an extension of the owner’s design and construction staff.
• Coordinate general contractors, engineers, internal departments, vendors, and client contacts.
• Review drawings, schedules, scopes, reports, vendor proposals, awards, pay applications, and close-out documentation.
• Conduct site reviews, inspections, punch-list inspections, and weekly project meetings throughout construction.
• Monitor compliance with scope, schedule, budget, quality expectations, contract terms, specifications, laws, ordinances, and building codes.
• Communicate cost and schedule impacts, establish safety expectations, and oversee project start-up and closeout activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of direct project management experience in design and construction, or 10 years of related experience and/or training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, Deltek, Newforma, and SmartSheet.
• Computer skills for daily timesheet entry and Microsoft Outlook correspondence.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Dallas, TX and travel up to 50% to project sites, inspections, or meetings.
• Ability to manage construction documentation, project reporting, site inspections, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
