What you will do

• Lead projects from initial estimating through subcontractor finalization.
• Develop detailed conceptual cost estimates and studies from schematic-level documentation.
• Lead bidding activities and manage trade partner relationships.
• Guide project teams through permitting and site mobilization.
• Build and maintain strong client and business relationships while communicating with project stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor preconstruction staff and may supervise engineers, assistant project managers, project engineers, and interns.

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction project management experience, including 7 years in commercial construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering preferred; equivalent strong experience may be considered.
• Experience preparing detailed conceptual estimates and studies.
• Knowledge of construction costs, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction methods.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, take-off software such as On-Screen Takeoff, project management software such as CMiC, and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project.
• Advanced project management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with high-end clientele.
