Lead Claims Advocate (Cyber Insurance)

What you will do

• Lead complex and high-severity claims involving D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, E&O, and cyber insurance.
• Review claim notices, legal demands, subpoenas, investigations, lawsuits, policy language, endorsements, exclusions, and program structures.
• Develop claim strategies, report matters under applicable policies, and help clients preserve their insurance rights.
• Coordinate clients, insurers, defense and coverage counsel, forensic firms, and other stakeholders through claim resolution.
• Monitor investigations, negotiate coverage disputes, defense cost advancements, settlements, and allocation issues.
• Conduct claim reviews and trend analyses, advise on emerging exposures, and support client presentations, RFPs, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an insurance certification such as CPCU or AIC is preferred.
• JD preferred.
• 5–10 years of specialty claims handling experience.
• Strong coverage interpretation and litigation management skills.
• Strong knowledge of D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, E&O, and cyber insurance products.
• Excellent analytical, communication, client-facing, and relationship management abilities.
