Senior Claims Advocate - P&C (Insurance)

Location: Los Angeles or Newport Beach, California, with an in-office requirement twice per week

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 annual base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits

What you will do

• Advise clients on reporting Property & Casualty claims and interpreting coverage provisions.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurers to support timely claim handling and favorable outcomes.
• Resolve coverage issues, negotiate settlements, review summons and complaints, and manage complex claims across multiple lines.
• Maintain claim files, document communications and activity in agency management systems, and monitor claims through resolution.
• Provide strategic insight into claim trends, loss drivers, coverage considerations, and risk management strategies.
• Participate in carrier claim reviews, support client service teams, and mentor or train colleagues when appropriate.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of Property & Casualty claims experience with a broker, insurance carrier, or third-party administrator.
• Knowledge of P&C coverage forms, claims processes, and industry practices, particularly General Liability, Auto Liability, and Property claims.
• Valid P&C Brokers License.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
